(Vinces, Los Ríos Province, Ecuador) Ariel Valiente was piloting a crop dusting plane when a large bird, possibly an Andean Condor, struck the windshield and slammed into him, causing him to be bloodied. Despite the damage to the plane and his injuries, he managed to capture video of the aftermath before landing safely.
