Friday, December 30, 2022. A large barge hit the Buda Bridge in Brussels, Belgium, leaving the bridge with a huge dent and extensive damage. The bridge's mechanism that allows it to be raised higher to allow access to cargo ships is no longer operable, preventing important fuel and heating oil deliveries from being made to the capital city.
